I know what it is like to deal with the issues that hormones complicate. I know what it is like to work with clients who, for example, want help with their arthritis but when I look at their symptoms, it is clear to me to that hormone issues are playing a role in their key concern.
My issue was having them understand why we should also work on hormones. It occurred to me that a food-based hormone program could solve the dilemma, allowing me to be more strategic with supplements and I did not have to worry about overwhelming my clients.

I have been registered holistic nutritionist, board certified in Practical Holistic Nutrition for 20 years and a food professional for 25 years. I've taught hundreds of practitioners both at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and through my programs, the Healthy Gut and Healthy Hormones program and the Simply Fermentation Online Workshop for Practitioners. More importantly I spent years hosting programs and workshops and working one-on-one with clients. And my specialty? Hormone Health. It was learning about hormones that led me to study the gut and learn the interrelationship between the two that solidified my knowledge.
I was fortunate to gain my knowledge from functional medicine practitioners and from this I learned the need to balance hormone systems all together. Through my work with clients, I discovered how food could be used to do this. I used my background as a food professional to help clients with choices that can fit their lifestyle needs.
Does this mean supplements will not be needed?
No, but when people eat for hormone health, less supplements are needed and the ones they do take will work better. By teaching them with foods, you give them the gift of transformation that they can use for the rest of their lives, giving you very satisfied clients
